For the marshmallow fluff
- 1 cup of glucose syrup
- 1 1/2 egg whites
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
For the Hot Chocolate
- 300ml milk
- 150ml cream
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 157g Terry's Orange chocolate
Instructions
- For the marshmallow fluff, whisk the egg whites, salt and glucose syrup for around 5 minutes until it doubles in size and forms stiff, white peaks.
- Mix in the icing sugar and vanilla extract until you have a fluffy, gooey mixture. Set aside once done.
- For the hot chocolate, begin by heating the milk over a medium heat.
- Add the cream, cinnamon, cocoa powder and vanilla extract. Give it a whisk until everything is fully combined.
- Add in the orange chocolate and mix until the chocolate has melted. Whisk vigorously for a frothy finish and be careful that you do not let the hot chocolate boil.
- Pour the hot chocolate into mugs and top with marshmallow fluff.
- Finally, blowtorch the marshmallow fluff (optional) and serve.
Notes
- You can add in more chocolate if you want the hot chocolate to be of a thicker consistency.
